There is a extremely loud rumbling noise that shakes my house and causes my entire household to wake from a sound sleep!
The neighbors who are closer to the bridge that is the cause of the noise have complained that it disturbs them also and shakes their house as well.
From what I understand, it is the sound of trucks hitting the expansion joints on the bridge that goes over Krumkill road about a half mile from 85 and less than 1/4 mile from our residence.
If a large truck hits it just right it literally sounds like a bomb is going off. It shakes our windows and has caused pictures to fall from the wall.
