Description
Street light #1 at Aspen Circle and Krumkill Rd. has been out for quite some time. I sent two prior requests for repair to the city and received an email from Jason West on April 24, 2023 saying it should be up & running soon. However, it still has not been repaired. This location consistently has people walking along that area with their dogs and as you turn in you can not see them in the evening. Now that it is progressively getting darker in the evening, it is just a matter of time before it becomes a safety issue.

Crews have identified and located an underground fault- directly in front of home owners house, inline with water main, gas main, and underground fiberoptic/ communication lines.
This work will require hand trenching to expose UG lines and repair.

Thank you for using this application to report an issue in the City of Albany. This location requires trenching and excavation to repair a broken underground line. National Grid will not allow an overhead tie in from the nearby cobra head streetlights.
A plan to trench, excavate, and repair the line and backfill to cause as little disruption as possible is being finalized. Thank you for your patience while this work is scheduled.
