Adding Image

Great suggestion....anyone ever bring it up to the right people, or are they supposed to use this as a way for suggestions? Something needs to be done with that area as far as traffic especially when DCC classes let out! From what I hear, they have been working on thinking what to do with this area on and off for years!

I cannot believe that this has not been adressed. There is a real traffic flow problem here. It is very dangerous, especially in the morning and when the college lets out. Traffic trying to go frm Creek Rd towards Innis Ave and Salt Point Tpk has to wait for Smith St traffic and for those driving west on Salt point to decide if they will use a signal to let others know they are turning onto Creek rd. I've seen cops that almost get hit here. Either a 3 way stop or traffic light is needed.

The problem is this street is on border of city and town of Poughkeepsie. City is one that has to fix problem that occurs in town. This is never going to be addressed unless county takes over responsibility for problem.
