The tunnel lights in the pedestrian tunnel under Canal Rd (which provides access to the Capital Cresent and C&O trails) have been out since the snow storms in February. This tunnel is heavily used by commuters and recreational users. The siedwalk here is usually wet and debris frequently ends up on the sidewalk - with the light's out, its an added danger.

There's no address # associated with the Tunnel so it shows up incorrectly on the Map - its the tunnel down by the Foundry Branch Valley Park (where Canal Rd splits off to Foxhall Rd).
NPS or DC did a fantastic job of clearing the brush away from the access path to the tunnel last week - just need to get the lights turned on to make it safe.
Will try to add an image/video later today/tomorrow if possible.
