The Shaker Heights Police Chief has talked with the Beachwood Police Chief, because the location of any left turn lane would be in Beachwood, not Shaker (Green Road north of Fairmount is mainly in Beachwood with just a few feet in Shaker). Beachwood has asked their City Engineer to look at this location to determine if a left turn lane is a. needed and then b. allowed per Ohio Department of Transportaion rules, which we and they have to follow. We should hear back later this summer.
