We live at 266 South Sutton Rd, Fort Mill Sc, 29708. Loves Truck Stop is just down the road but the 18 wheelers keep turning around in our drive. Signs are posted but the trucks ignore them..I have called the York county SCDOT, they came out, cleaned out the ditch the truckers flattened that caused excessive water to flow into our yard..MY driveway is cracking, and I am sure that Love's won't pay to fix problem..The County needs to put a sign up then maybe the truckers will stop this.

Please Help!!

No!!

I'ver put up signs, parked my jeep in the driveway and that still has not stopped them. Two days ago an 18 wheeler squeezed by my jeep and pulled up into my neighbors yard to make the turn. I've contacted the York County Sherrifs Department, They informed me that unless the SCDOT places "no truck turnaround",they cannot arrest the truckers since they aren't breaking any laws.

To get the truckers for trespassing the law enforcement agency must catch the truck on my property!!

No...I have to leave my vehicle parked at an angle to keep them out. Now I have to walk 80 feet or so,rain or shine,because if I move my jeep, they will turn around!!

We came home from visiting relatives and this is what we found!! They knocked over another mailbox!!

They also ran over the Private Property sign!!! You can still see the tracks..

The truckers that I could stop, I would ask "How did you miss the entrance to Love's?" They would respond that when trucks are pulling out, there is insufficient room for them to pull in, so they go past and find a place to turn around....My place,,,,,this has got to stop !!!!!!
