Warning that the town might be negligent to the danger of bricks loose in their mortar and projecting up as a tripping hazard. My wife trip Friday night as we walked up to Not your Average Joe’s for dinner. The brick stood up clearly more than an inch and her foot caught onto it and she fell face forward. Her chin and nose hit and her wrist. Today she is having X-rays and tests for concussion, swelling, and infection to her wound inside her mouth where her tooth dug in. It would seem that the historic nature of the walkways requires a higher level of inspections, cones to mark a danger, and maintenance. I can produce my receipt from dinner to confirm we were in the area along with my parking receipt. I’d like to hear from an official to discuss what their insurance carrier will cover for pain and suffering. ARB
