Descripción

The ditch on both sides of little back river road has bottles, wrappers, and other trash in it. this needs to be cleaned up to prevent wildlife from being injured from the trash.

What most people can't see is that we have been the victims of drastic budget cuts. There are only three workers doing the work of 73 just a few years ago. The cuts have affected the landscape crews and have allowed public works to increase in there service and performance. This is reached thru citizen input and meetings with area leaders. There has been polling in the various shopping malls and also at open forums. This has all been given to supply citizens with a better focused service. I am not a city worker, I read and attend civic meetings and practice zen minn

There was still some litter in the ditch when we passed by today. The litter pickers have not been thru there yet.

There are still butts all over the park. I was hoping that the parks worker would have put outdoor ashtrays thru out the park. That way smokers could dispose of the butts in the proper way. A program like this would pay for itself in a year.

Our public works crews are the anchor of the city services. They keep the city moving forward and looking great The lesser departments are in place for support of public works.

While my walking group and I were walking and practicing our planking, We saw The public works litter collectors out in force on this road. They cleaned up the ditch bank and the fence lines on both sides. It looks much better now. After inspecting the clean up, I can ask that this issue be archived at this time. Public works crews saved our city once again! Good job!

You are so right Rhonda! Only PW can do these jobs... so encourage PW to handle ALL your job requests as the lesser departments can not preform the the work properly!

While I agree that there is a constance supply of trash to be blown into the drain ditch, Since Public works crews have cleaned it up, It looks alot better. Perhaps a support department can now keep it clean now that the hard work is done. Thanks to the Public works staff!

Recieved an email from Mr. McSweeny at litter control headquarters and was informend that a support department was tasked with finishing the cleanup and they did not complete it. Public works will follow up and take care of the matter.

Those litter picker workers from the city need to step up and pick up this mess, trim the weeds back, and rake up some of that trash. Public works crews have enough to do!

This is still a problem. Just today, I counted seventeen bottles and cans in the ditch. I pay taxes, Why should I have to see this?
