Along the promenade, demand for bike parking often overwhelms supply. Bikes often attached to trees and other less secure objects.

how many public meetings for the bike "friendly" town of SM to get the point. Brand new $30 million beach club and 4 bike racks. All the new buildings going up...how many have bike lockers with showers for cummuters? When was the last designated bike lane created? I love "sharing the road" with 2 ton + vehicles! (sarcastic comment)

I totally agree. Bike racks are a necessity. :)
