Barricades were removed last week.  The north to west temp turn bay can only accommodate one or two cars at a time in order to maintain a safe work zone.  Since northbound was reduced to one lane this is causing some delay to northbound traffic because the que to turn left extended into the thru lane. Bike and pedestrian signage deficiency will be assessed.

A works zone that users have no clue how to navigate is NOT a safe work zone. Signage, barricading and proper vulnerable user routing (as stipulated by MUTCD) should never be optional for any DMD employee or Manager. Would have been be nice if DMD would have adequately considered ALL users of this crossing as well as workers during temporary construction phase. The construction zone definitely created an unsafe environment for bicycles approaching westbound entrance from the South or wanting to cross from East side of 4th MUP.
