This road has outlived the 20 year expected lifespan of a local subdivision road. It is the policy of the Road Commission of Macomb County Board that reconstruction of local subdivision roads are 100% the responsibility of the township. The current economic situation as it is and funding already running thin, the township would most likely only be able to offer the option of a Special Assessment District where homeowners pay for the reconstruction based on the property owned on the road. Your township should have information available on setting up a special assessment for you to review.
