City of Decatur is really lax in enforcement of unregistered cars. I doubt anything will be done - even though it is a violation of the city code as well as a traffic violation.
I reported a similar situation almost 4 months ago in my neighborhood and nothing has been done.

Let's keep reporting them over and over. Sending a note to to the city manager or going to the commission meeting to report that it has not been dealt with for 4 months may get action.

The vehicle does not have current registration. A 5 day warning has been placed on the vehicle for the owner to move the vehicle or have it registered. We will check the status in 5 days and handle it accordingly.
