Thank you for contacting the City of Greensboro. The City does not have an ordinance that would compel a property owner to remove a live tree. You can remove trees that are on your own property, and cut back limbs that encroach onto your property. We would encourage you to discuss your concerns with the property owner to reach a resolution.
