Infrastructure built in the urban reserve is very difficult to install because of the previous contamination contained within the site and the cost. At the time of the bike path reconstruction it was determined that the installation of a drinking fountain was cost prohibitive. The Skate Park fountain was designed for both people and their pets - and there is also drinking water available at North Beach. The future renovation of the North Beach Campground will contain more services for Bike Path users including restrooms and access to potable water. This item is labeled as future capital consideration.

Thanks for the explanation and consideration. The dog park is wonderful and well-used, as is the overall development. Keep up the good work! We can bring water.
