no, this one is actually on 22nd st, but halfway between Hamilton and the Parkway on the east side of the street. I was by there today and it is still open. It appears to be a manhole without the cover. There is still a cone there for warning, but still very dangerous.

The hole has been covered with a metal plate. However, the spikes holding the plate in place are sticking up 3-4 inches above the surface.

A report has also been filed with Streets Dept. Operation Smooth Streets (http://potholes.phila.gov/csstreets).

Will report back.

Philly 311 website lists the following info.:

"Updated 6/10/09 7:01am: The Streets Dept has received the request Updated 6/10/09 5:04pm: The Streets Department has changed the problem type from 'Street paving' to 'Pothole repair' Updated 6/11/09 7:01am: The Streets Department reported that the street is scheduled for future resurfacing based on budget priorities."

Additionally, Streets Dept is scheduled to contact, will further update then.
