Thank you for your e-mail to Mayor Peter Bober advising of your concerns with the street lights not working in the 1400 block of Washington Street.
Your e-mail was forwarded to the City's Department of Public Works for their investigation and response, and Streets Operations Manager Denise Yoezle advised the following:
"The 1400 block of Washington Street is maintained by Florida, Power & Light (FPL). Contact number is 954-797-5000, or the lights can be reported on the FPL website."
We contacted Florida Power & Light on your behalf and advised them of the street light outage you reported. They provided FPL work ticket #6789 and stated that the streets lights should be repaired within 5 to 10 working days. They requested that you contact them directly at telephone #(954)797-5000 if you had further questions in the interim that they could assist you with.
Thank you again for your e-mail to Mayor Peter Bober, and for allowing us to be of service.
Respectfully,
