There has been little urgency at the municipal or provincial gov't levels to resolve this situation. Apparently, nothing but inaction from the province (thanks for nothing Laurel Broten), the Mayor's office, the local council and the councillor. Allowing the storing of waste soil (with levels of toxicity -- someone told me it is deemed harmful to plant life) within this neighbourhood this long is nothing short of incredible. Somebody please explain why this developer can do this??? The people living around here call it a "moonscape". Please don't vote for these politicians - they won't help our neighbourhood. Also wondering why the Toronto Star didn't want to expose this mess within city limits?
