V Street NE between Rhode Island Ave and North Capital NE was repaved last year (thank you!). Unfortunately with the hill, and particularly during rush hour, traffic flies up and down the street between lincoln and north capital. There is a speed table East of lincoln but nothing in the longest stretch of V west of lincoln and people regularly zoom up and down well in excess of the speed limit. There are several young children living in the street and I personally have almost been clipped multiple times while entering or exiting a parked car. Additionally the situation is worse now that the street is smooth /freshly repaved.
