You should try pulling a small trailer over them...eep!

Memories...Driving on Rt. 309 was such a blast, usually 90 - 100 mph with the potholes about 15 years ago. Many motorists go 70 mph during rush hour. When they get that road paved people are going to be trying to break the sound barrier in their cars! The best part was there were few places for the police to hide, but with the upgrades, i bet there will be more patrolling on Rt. 309. I don't see what they are doing work on. They are so slow. There are construction vehicles lined all up and down Rt. 309, but they seem to have one crew of 5 people and only use one piece of equipment at a time. They may as well pave it now, because when they finish the on and off ramp projects it will have needed to be repaved a few more times, but the excuse they will tell you is they are waiting until they are finished to pave. There is a maintenance building in Lower Gwynedd right on Rt. 309, you would think they have some blacktop they could fill in the holes with and find a shovel and figure out how to put the blacktop in a truck and scoop it into the holes in the road, but maybe there is more to it than that.

It's going to end up being the shoulder of the road, so there is no reason for the drains to meet up smoothly. I'm ok driving in the left lane with more motorists as long as they are concentrating on continuing the progress and moving the football down the field. It's not an easy undertaking, but I can't wait for it to be finished asap.

Anyone know the estimated completion date?
