Description
Winthrop/Pembroke + Willis Avenue and Lafayette/Meager + Willis avenue lights are synchronized to turn red simultaneously. The traffic light in front of Saint Aidan's Church and the school (Bermingham Place + Willis Ave) alternates with the above mentioned lights. Add an inconsiderate crossing guard that crosses people on green and you get major traffic backing up all the way to Williams Street and causing gridlock at Willis and Hillside. It should not take 5 minutes to traverse from Hillside to Pembroke - that's 2 mph, but it has been happening far too often, at least once a week.
