They spent 1.8 million on the light project. It took two years and sensors were placed in the parking space at Stanbrige and Airy so it happens there too. NO ONE CARES...I have been trying since they started the two year mess to find someone who does. Apparently the system is overseen by a drunk...and apparently they spend one million on No Turn on Right signs for places that never had them.
This is a typical Norristown project. sSomeone makes a lot of money and we get the shaft. Thanks PENNDOT and Norristown for trying to improve traffic flow by stopping it. PS...I hjust wait for around 30 seconds and run the light...it is that or actually waiting for it to change.
I sat @ this light forever one night and finally just "took it". I stopped a cop after that and made him aware of the problem and he replied I was sitting in the "wrong place"(as though there are a million places to sit @ an intersection @ a traffic light). I found this ironic being as though I backed up and flashed my high beams numerous times. This light NEEDS to be re-timed/reset!
Wow, I had the same problem, around 11:30 at night at DeKalb & Lafayette Streets. Waited for at least ten minutes finally had to make my own decision. Can they just knock down Norristown and start over.
Yeah me too. I have to say Markley Street looks better than Lafayette. And that's not saying much. What a horrible town. They have the nerve to use "The Heart of Montgomery County" I would use a different phrase.
