I agree, there are several blind spots including a stone wall and overgrown plants. I have contacted the Willistown Township manager several times, as well as the police department and Penn Dot. I was informed last spring that a "study" was being done to determine if a 4-way stop intersection or a light was necessary. Still nothing has been done and serious accidents keep occurring there. After one of the last ones involving several cars, yellow signs were nailed to the stop signs indicating that "cross traffic does not stop". Ridiculous. Since the township has notice of the dangerous condition, they should be held liable for further accidents.

It will too late when someone gets killed at this intersection, but PENNDOT usually waits till it's too late.

Agree with Mary 100%. The fact that this has never been properly addressed is unacceptable. I'm a young, alert, moderately aggressive driver (ie. "not afraid to merge") ... and I think this intersection is dangerous. There is absolutely no line of sight.

S.R. 0926. This means state route, which means it is a state road. Why should the township be held liable ? Also how do you nail signs to a metal post, looks like they are bolted on to me. Just another example of all the people from the city moving to the country and they need stop signs and traffic lights at every intersection or they do not know what to do.

Traffic on Street Rd flies up and down this area. Visibility on Dutton Mill is extremely limited. There are hills in both directions on Street Rd, and a big hump to cross at the intersection as well. Sorry Jim, but I disagree with you. It has nothing to do with city folks moving to the country and everything to do with Street Rd being heavily traveled by speeding motorists. A 4-way stop is the minimum that is needed. A traffic signal triggered only by cars on Dutton Mill would be even better. It's about lives, Jim, not lazy country roads

The newly painted ground warnings are inefficient particularly at sun up or dun down, they are washing away. White was a bad choice, how about neon green so it shows up in snow or rain in the dark????? A stop light would be better and the township has admitted in public they don't want to put on in. Do a traffic study in October or April!

Simply painting the street with stop ahead has not worked. you can not see the white paint in rain, sunset or sunrise. Now the road has been ripped up for sewer line work and the new macadam has covered half of the point job. We need four stop signs and flashing lights or a working light at this intersection. a new traffic study should not be done during the month of august or july!!!!!

the state legally makes the township responsible for roadwork. Ask chester county officials. they will confirm this.

The intersection is a disgrace.
I lived here only 6 years and can't believe the amount accident I have seen.
A study of the traffic needs to be done. Wander how many accidents are on record for the intersection.
It's a main road with a lot traffic not a little back road anymore. Willistown needs to do more than what has been done. The lines that have painted also fading.
Flashing might not be a bad idea. As Valley rd. & 352
have does get your attention.

They have now put 4 way stop signs(thankfully),around summer 2019, albeit it was 9 years late, Lol.
