A stop sign is needed at the corner of South Whitehall Road and Butler Ave to control the speed of traffic when rounding the corner.

Whitehall Road is a State Road, South Whitehall Road is in need of help for traffic control. There are stop signs on Butler Ave and Williams Way, cars rarely come to a complete stop cars traveling south on Whitehall do not have a stop sign - if there was a stop sign placed at this corner vehicles will hopefully be forced to make the right hand turn on the roadway instead of the property situated at this corner. The stop signs on Butler Ave and Williams Way need to be moved closer to the intersection. Looking left at the stop sign on Butler Ave you look into the homeowners house, looking right at the stop sign on Williams Way you are looking into a bush. Pictures have been provided to West Norriton Twp showing the location of the stop signs in connection to the intersection. PLEASE FIX this - the homeowners on these corners are tired of having their lawns destroyed!

This request has been viewed 254 times. I am wondering if any of the viewers were township officials. If you, please take this request seriously. Stop signs are needed on either side of Whitehall road above and beyond the Williams Way/Butler Ave intersection. I have seen a neighbor heading north on S Whitehall Road almost get hit numerous times by motorist who 'GLIDE' through the stop signs. The vehicles on S Whitehall Road DO NOT HAVE STOP SIGNS and have the right of way....so either give us stop signs or ticket the non-stopping cars from Williams Way and Butler Ave. EACH CORNER at this intersection has endured enough property damage! Where is the click it or fix it for the property repair? WEST NORRITON TWP -- we have asked and asked....and still you have done nothing.
