We have been getting our trash picked up from behind 1900 Fruitvale Ave on 33rd Ave. When the trash is picked up on 33rd Ave, the streets are so narrow that the WM Driver cannot make the turn to get access to the dumpster. We have done everything we can on our end to make sure that WM can access the gates Mondays and Thursdays. Supervisor from WM and I spoke & agreed that this is out of both of our hands, because we can’t tell people not to park near the driveway (It’s their right to park there). This is more of a city issue and we felt that we could get approved for a city exemption. We don't have the extra funds to pay WM driver to pull the dumpster to the curbside, nor have someone pull a 500+ Lbs. dumpster to the curb. We would like to apply for the city exemption for WM to pull the dumpsters out if they cannot access the driveway.
