Are you talkin' 'bout the WC Bypass and Phoenixville Pike? There's rarely enough left-turn traffic in any of the 4 directions (ok, maybe northbound Phoenixville Pike onto westbound bypass) to warrant a left-turn signal.
Yes, if you are on Phoenixville Pk. north in in the afternoon, turning west on 322/ West Chester bypass is a bad experience. Either you need to jump in front of thru traffic , or you run the light at the end of your green light.
That sucks.... Save the Estate! Walk the property, see the dams, lakes ,old water gardens, the log cabin....the vastness of this one piece of the West Chester area should become a nature area/park for all to enjoy. Oh, to get back to traffic. The traffic would be reduced as a park/nature area.
I wonder how many accidents have happened here during the rush hour? The oncoming traffic is going very fast and cutting through it, which is what you have to do, is very dangerous. I've waited for as many as 3 lights before I could make that left hand turn. How expensive could it be to delay the light or add a left turn arrow to it?
