Much responsibility for the poor condition of Dixie is from the featherbedding OCRC patching crews. If you've seen these folks "work", you'll notice they only fill about half of the holes. Why? So the public will be forced to pay for these folks to make two or three passes over the same stretch of road to do the work they could do with one. It's called union featherbedding folks, another technique used by our "public servants" to force us to pay for too many workers. Let's privatize road patching and see how they can keep the same roads in much better condition for less than half the price.
