Middletown Police and MHA should get together and get up the money to put an electrical gate that would be placed at the entrance. You would issues all the legal residence a key card. This also means that a barier would also have to be put in place so cars would not attempt to drive up over the grass to gain entry. Come on MHA and MPD get it together, protect the tenants that do good by you.
First of all for eveeryone that lives in Maplewood, you guys know the one's that are selling drugs. Call MHA report the name and the address that the person or persons reside, next thing is you DO NOT have to identify yourself when reporting the offense. If more residents would get involved you wouldn't have these problems. Stop complaining and come together as a neighborhood.
I live in Maplewood now and all these problems are still going on even with the new security camaras up. It has improved through the years and it's a working process. I do see lots of little kids playing outside, but my own concern is the teenagers out til after school through the late night. I wish there was something for them to do in Middletown besides make a hell of noise and just sit around and do nothing. That's what makes these kids want to sell or do drugs. It's boredom. Middletown needs something for the teens to do after school that's free and drug free. Also, Walnut Street needs to be paved again because of major potholes. It's not easy driving up a hill slow. This winter is going to suck because the road will not get plowed properly because of the potholes. School buses have to go down that hill as well, and make a stop at every corner. Fix the road!
The City of Middletown will officially launch SeeClickFix in October 2016. As we ramp up with this partnership, the City is offering a limited number of reportable issue types and we ask that residents submit only the issues listed through SeeClickFix. Other issues not listed through SeeClickFix can be reported by calling the appropriate City Department. If the issue you originally reported has not yet been resolved and is listed through the selectable Issues, please consider submitting a new report through the SeeClickFix system and we’ll be happy to address your concern at that time. Thanks and the City is excited about this new partnership to continue improving Middletown.
