This is a regular occurrence. City needs to review drainage deficiencies and address them. Our taxes are ridiculously high and we can't get the most basic of services - drainage. We're tired of the City ignoring this issue. It repeatedly occurs.

Case should not be closed. This is a persistent problem that needs to be addressed by a City Drainage Engineer.

This case is unique to the 13 home community bordered by Kansas, Sherwin and Kiam. All 13 garages flood after as little as 1-1/2 inches of rain. The City can fix this. We need an analysis performed by a City Drainage Engineer. I will facilitate a walkthrough to educate the Engineer on the issues we are facing.

What will it take to convince you that every home surrounding the 13 I referenced in my previous post were high and dry. Ours flood - theirs don't! I moved my cars into the street so they wouldn't flood in the garage. Investigate this request instead of immediately closing it every time I resubmit.

As John mentioned, we are the only ones that flood and don't appreciate our garages acting as the neighborhood retention ponds due to extremely poor drainage

What is 311 for, if serious issues get closed within minutes without an actual investigation? It's a serious matter and shouldn't be ignored. FIX our drainage.

Not only does this damage these tax-paying residents' homes on this section of Sherwin St but it causes unsafe driving conditions in a very short timeframe of actual rainfall. The duration and intensity with which it rained is NOT NORMAL TO CAUSE THIS AMOUNT OF FLOODING. There are many homes just north of this where this becomes the only way out. This is completely unacceptable. I've seen semi trucks and a school bus get stuck in the ditch because they could not tell where the road ends due to high standing water on the road. My wife was 38+ weeks pregnant and we had serious concerns about whether we would even be able to make it to the hospital if she were to go into labor if it was raining out. We've been trapped and unable to drive to work causing LOST WAGES. At times when if we could get out of this neighborhood the rest of the streets were fine at the time. Again, this is a huge issue for our neighborhood full of high tax paying residents. Please address this and do not simply close it like you've done to this and other 311 requests on this same issue even from months ago.
