Council informed me today that works to install bicycle lights for northbound cyclists here are due for completion by end of April. RMS staff were there on Friday relocating a light control pole from the middle of the footpath on the eastern side, which had been wrongly placed. There is more work to be done too, the proposed shared path on western side of the Catherine St bridge (where northbound cyclists will go) needs repaving and a step removed at the southern end.

Asphalt ramp installed earlier this week so the step problem is fixed at the southern end of Catherine St bridge, western side proposed cycleway. Wondering if pedestrians will also use this side of the bridge more, once bicycle lights go in at the City West Link.

The water filled bollards are still sitting on the bicycle lane, so this report is still open. I see that there has been some progress with the ramp.

The bike lights are up but covered. Don't know what the hold up is, but I noticed the button to activate the lights is installed on the wrong side of the pole, so maybe they have to reposition it. Another X weeks!

The bollards have been moved over near the median strip again, providing an opportunity for cyclists to attempt the dangerous crossing. A Project and Design Plan and diagram would have eliminated these costly installation errors
