  Is it City policy, practice and proceedure to allow street signs to be discarded and not replace when a citizen offers assistance to do so? Please reopen this issue, it is not resolved. If you refuse, you leave me no alternative but to take this matter up with the mayor. I will not tolerate neglect.

  What's wrong with Traffic, or, whoever is responsible for signs, don't we pay them to do their job? I understand your willingness and I appreciate your effort, but we pay these guys to work for us and frankly I feel some resentment for what appears to be a careless attitude. And, that, I far from appreciate. I say, let them do it. And if they have a problem with it, tell them to meet me in the Mayor's office. If I don't hear from them by end of work day, Monday, January 14th, I'll see the mayor myself. They had plenty time to be responsible for their pay. I won't tolerate this carelessness, and I don't care who they are or where they come from. If Management does not appreciate the effort a non-paid citizen makes for the sake of all of us, then maybe they don't need their job.

  Have you responded to Chris' comment above to name a place and time so he can pick up the sign? It seems like he's making an effort to try to get the sign from you. Your comment seems a bit inflammatory, especially since you haven't responded to Chris' offer.

  I don't work for Quincy. I work for SeeClickFix. My job at the company is to make sure that it's being used for constructive solutions and is free of abusive commentary. I intervened in this issue because of your abusive rhetoric.
