Sneaks up on property with a bag, leaves without bag..

Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.

Out of control! We have a city that strangers treat as a trash can, and our city fathers' reaction is to pride themselves on the clean up job. I'm not blaming the Public Works, Streets, and Code Enforcement people who do that filthy job, but the self-satisfied mandarins in City Hall who do nothing to prevent it.

Perhaps we need another big banner across the front of City Hall, this one reading: "DUMP YOUR TRASH RIGHT HERE. IT DOESN'T BOTHER US AT ALL".
