Spring is here and now it is time for the City of Troy to pave Thompson St, Erie St, Howard St, Delaware Ave and allow us to come and go from our homes without breaking axles on our vehicles.

Get these roads around Thompson St repaired! Old Delaware is one lane due to overgrowth of weeds and all roads leading up to and down from Thompson St are terribly filled with massive holes. Pave them all!

Now summer is here and as always Old Delaware Ave and Howard St are not only full of holes but they are barely one lane as the bushes have once again grown out blocking one lane as the city of Troy DPW NEVER cuts them to remove them from the road. Remove them one time and we won't have this problem. When I get in an accident, I will sue the City of Troy immediately.

the utility company went through here last year and destroyed the pavement and absolutely did not leave it the way they found it... It's horrible, the condition of the streets... and those bushes at the end of Mechanic have got to go!!!

2 years later and only more holes in the road. still horrific road conditions and overgrowth of trees and weeds. our taxpayer dollars must be needed to repair one of our politicians homes/roads/driveways/etc.

Maybe we should file a lawsuit against the city for theft of services for not providing the required stated services that our taxes are intended & paid for! They are obligated to provide these services...if they do not, what are our taxes for??

They only paved the erie st and only up to the intersection and stopped. The rest has just been neglected. The repairs to fix the road they dug up are becoming sinkholes. Someone down where it was paved must be a relative or best friend to someone affiliated with the city.

those sinkholes are scarey. considering how many sinkholes have been in the news, and the landslide we had the other year... I guess someone has to get hurt before they take care of them. such a shame.

Five years later and the roads have only become worse. There have been no efforts by the City of Troy to even fill in these craters and sinkholes. We need to look into the lack of governments to maintain their infrastructures as taxation without representation!

Old Delaware going up to Gearfield gets more dangerous every day. The road going up near Burden Pond is almost sinking down the hill. Almost accidents all the time as you cannot use the right side of the road.

When will Troy pave Thompson St, Old Delaware Ave., Howard St, and Erie St? This was reported in 2012 and we have had nothing done to any of these roads. The deterioration of the roads has continued and soon Old Delaware will sink into the pond. I think we should not pay our full taxes until the city of Troy repaves these horrendous roads. Maybe we can get a politician to move in up here and the roads would be repaved immediately..

So Troy decided to finally do something about the horrific conditions of the roads up here. They paved Erie St down to mill, and from the Baseball field on Thompson down Old Delaware Ave to Mill St. They left the section from the baseball field to Erie St and the rest of Thompson St untouched. The front of my house has giant craters in it and you can literally go out and pick up large chunks of pavement that had been poorly laid down in about a one inch thick coating many years ago. I still do not understand why we still pay taxes!

Still no help from Madden or the City of Troy. Left several messages and was even assured by one staff member that the manager would get the complaint about the holes in front of my house going all the way down Thompson St.

This is the worst city in the area in regards to road maintenance.
