XYZ - there is a directive when reporting traffic signal issues on SCF. When someone creates a SCF issue and they select Traffic Signal/Pedestrian Signal as the service request type, this text appears underneath where the public types the description of the issue.
"If there is a problem with a Traffic Signal, please call the Transportation, Traffic and Parking Department directly at (203) 946-8075 between 9 am and 5 pm, M -F or call the New Haven Police Department after hours or on weekends at (203) 946-6316."
Anyone who wants to report a problem with a traffic signal see's this. So you don't have to tell anyone to call.
Correction - what I see and what the public sees when creating an issue is different. When the public creates an issue and selects the Category - Traffic Signal/Pedestrian Signal - that directive shows up just underneath the category selection. Even Better.
