What's the basis for closing this issue?

It was 4 yrs old with no activity. We all need to stay on top of these and keep moving with activity to see action. Otheewise, they get ignored. Is this still an issue? Lets talk about it.

It is still an issue. People crossing the street at this point tend to run across the road for lack of a good alternative. While there's little indication this issue is on the city or DOT's radar, that doesn't make it less of an issue. I think upvoting or commenting on a dormant issue is a better way to keep it alive than closing it. Issues should only be closed when they are fixed.

Closing it got your attention, didnt it? Unfortunately, people dont come back and close on their own. I hardly doubt a 4 year old post about a tree that fell or snow bank causing visibility problems are still an issue. These are just some examples of the ones I closed. Im disappointed in this region of SCF users. I see a lot of post-and-bail and not a lot of action. Lets work to make SCF great and participate.
