Thank you for contacting City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering. The shrubs were determined to not be in the visibility zone. However, your comments were further investigated to determine what did seem to be the issue.
The following are items that we determined to address: 1. We will rework the worn raised pavement markers in the turn so that vehicles negotiate the turn better visually helping drivers to stay in their lane. 2. We will look at the subdivision as there are several turns in the subdivision that may need replacement of raised pavement markers.
Additional comments: Also, at one point during our investigation, it was noted that a vehicle was parked in the turn. This issue has been resolved. Please call us at 256-427-6850 if we can be of any further assistance.
