Description

There is a large rectangular metal grate that was installed on 8th Avenue, between East 15th Street and Foothill Blvd, to cover what appears to be a hole for sewage or electrical work. There is no active work being done at the location and it's unclear whether the grate is supposed to be permanent. The grate is loose, so every time a vehicle drives over it it makes two very loud banging noises. This is a residential street with single-family homes and apartments fronting the street, including mine. The banging is happening during the day and night, and is very disruptive.
