That entire area is a quick patchwork of solutions (lots of lights near Pizza Hut where traffic gets horribly backed-up ) or no solutions (that corner in particular). The infrastructure of that entire area has not kept up with the volume and commercial growth during the last 35 years, How about an upgrade with sidewalks such as those on South Broadway and to include pedestrian crossing lights? Don't forget West Fenlon St not too far away, a sidewalk is desperately needed between Boradway and Ballston Ave. City Hall forgets that there are other parts of town besides tourist Broadway and the wealthy residents' areas.

@Seenitall, so right! but there is more to this....SSPD get upset if notified, trucks and cars speeding don't stop for pedestrians, no walkways to cross the streets....and most of all you said City hall forgets that ther are other part of town...so right on....we do not have the beautiful lighting, our leaves and trash are not picked up as quickly as the wealthy residents areas...I'm so fed up with this town...looking to move if the city doesn't come up with changes...

I hate that intersection. Trying to come out of that small side street from Price Chopper across from Lincoln and crossing Ballston Ave. A light should be put in there!

The city is working on a plan to fix this if you read The Saratogian you would know this.. It's not going to be an overnight fix.

This is on the city's to be studied list. There have been a few articles in The Saratogian about it and many different posts here on See Click Fix about the entire Ballston Ave Corridor from Broadway to West Fenlon St. I wish the city would get off it's behind and stop wasting money on studies when we know that some fixes are as simple as a traffic light or turning a street in to a one way road. It frustrates me that someone must be severely injured or killed before anything happens in this city. I fear this issue may not be resolved for at least another year if not much much longer.

A traffic signal is part of the proposed Ballston Avenue project which begins at this intersection and extends north on Ballston Ave to include the intersection with Hamilton Street..

Living right on this corner for only a year now, there has been 3 accidents. How long will it take to out traffic lights in?

Still waiting in some sort of solution to this. Every day when I head to the gym or grocery store I worry about myself or family being killed navigating through this intersection. Between the vehicles always parked at Boxley's and the snowbanks on the south side, you can never see oncoming traffic!

West Fenlon has its public right of way encroached on by the residents - who should remove their cars and trees and fences so that at the very least, the public can walk safely on the side of the roadway.

Already an issue open for this intersection for the same reason. Please do not open an issue for the same reason for the same intersection.
