This issue replaces #238331, Pedestrian Crossing Signals Lacking, first reported by EB on Sept. 24, 2012. Issue is that there is NO pedestrian signal across Massachusetts Ave NE at 6th Street, just North of the park. Additionally, there is now a 96 Bus stop just 50 yards to the West. Due to multiple streets intersecting here (Mass Ave, 7th Street and Constitution), the traffic patterns are complicated and difficult to tell when it's safe to cross. This is especially a problem at school opening and closing times.
