That truck can be cited for being illegally parked, since it's parked facing the wrong way. However, if all 3 vehicles are truly abandoned, then you should contact the Abandoned Auto Section directly, either by phone, (510)777-8622; or by email, at AbandonedAuto@oaklandnet.com. Please try to get as much information as possible: license plate number, color, make and model. Be sure to list each vehicle separate.

Someone is living in one of the vehicles, and now there are 4 and they all belong to him, parked directly across the street from my house. Doesn't feel safe. What to do?

Sarah, if people are living in one or more of those vehicles, you can probably contact OPD's Neighborhood Services Division at (510)986-2715, and speak with one of the NSC's. (If you are going to be at the Dio de Los Muertas Festival this Sunday - tomorrow - there may be someone from their office there.) Festival runs from 10:00am until 5:00pm.
