The house has been empty for 4 years right after the last tenant damaged the property. Two years ago the security doors were stolen and people started to go in and out. My neighbor and I decided to board it up when a kid walking from school got mugged.

I used to mow that yard at least once a month to keep away the people hanging around until my mower got damaged

Yesterday, somebody try to light the grass on fire which as you can see in the attached photo, is tall and dry.

I would like to know if there's something I can do to get reimbursed from the owner for the money I spent mowing the yard. Also, I would like to know the status of the mow-to-own program I saw on the news
