Description
This curve has caused entirely too many wrecks. Last Thursday (10/20/16), after it finally rained, there were at least two wrecks within a few hours of each other.
The curve needs to be straightened out some and not have such steep grade and shoulder drop offs. Cars often just barely go off the edge of the already narrow road, then when they try to correct, they can't do it in a controlled manner because they need to be changing directions because of the lazy S shape of the curve. It's not unusual that this then brings opposing traffic into play since there's no where for any cars to pull off to avoid a serving car coming from the opposing lane.
The land on the north side of the curve has recently been cleared and put up for sale, so now would be a good time for the city to look into it.
