This issues has not been resolved. Trying to merge onto Cherokee from Collingbourne is still very dangerous due to the overgrown lot on the southwestern corner of where Cherokee and Collingbourne Road meet. Now that the city has been made aware of the issue over five times with no response from the city or no action to remedy the situation, the liability for potential accidents happening (as a result of these obstructions to the field of vision for drivers and pedestrians) will fall squarely on the city. Clearing up that lot is not the responsibility of the homeowners of this neighborhood because of the risk involved with performing the work needed. Because of the hilly terrain, vehicles traveling eastbound down Cherokee are unable to see if someone is in the road working to cut back vegetation. This is a job that will require multiple people with the appropriate equipment and the residents of this neighborhood aren't able to do it. Please remedy this dangerous situation!
