Description
Not sure it qualifies as a "signs conflicting" issue but I couldn't find a better category. Heading west on Military Rd, approaching 27th St. NW, there's a pair of signs that indicate that the right lane is only for turning right, except during the morning rush hour. On the other side of the intersection westbound has two lanes, but one is for parking except during the morning rush hour. The center lane before the intersection is supposed to be the only lane that goes straight. The center lane pre-intersection leads directly into the right/parking lane post-intersection. However, throughout the day, most people in the right lane go straight. This can be very dangerous, as people in the center lane try to go straight, i.e. into the right lane; people in the right lane try to shift left in the intersection to continue on Military, i.e. into the right lane. I see near-accidents almost every day here. I think the best thing would be to make it so both center and right lanes can go straight, and add some dashed white lines down the intersection to make it clear that both lanes have to shift left as they cross the intersection.

DDOT studied and the 2009 DDOT director "Gabe Klein created this Roadway a Convexting traffic pattern to slow incoming traffic only coming from east of rock creek park ... thus is why , if your speeding you have to SLOW DOWN to 25 mph & read the road ahead of you ... t's dangerous if your speeding down military road above 35mph .........but you should observe speed limits of city first !!because if your traveling a max limit of 35 mph . drive correctly first of all, Military road is not the AUTOBAHN
