Foothill parkway is only going to encourage more people to drive through the area and make it worse. the longest part of my commute every morning is going from my house at the top of avenida del vista to the 91. Even when I attempt to bypass ontario ave by taking side residential streets it is bogged down and backed up by semis, and other tractor trailers pulling double trailers. There are numerous stop signs that serve no purpose except to cause enormous miles long (yes, I mapped it) backups. Occasionally there will be a police officer directing people not to stop because the traffic backup is that bad. The officer is at the intersection of Las Posas and Paseo grande. This stop sign should be replaced by a cross traffic sensing light or removed.

With the foothill pass not connecting to the freeway I dont see that our street will unclog. Also we are affected taking our kids to school through the green river traffic. Now we will have another stop sign or light to deal with in less then 500 feet. How are you going to allow for the ease of traffic on green river and paseo grande.

I think I saw ticket asking for stop signs at that location a while back. The "never" has cross traffic person probably couldn't get out.

That's why a majority if not all of these stop signs need to be replaced by traffic sensitive stop lights. For @stuckincorona this means that when there is a vehicle that approaches said intersection the lights will change allowing that vehicle to go.
