The pavement has been broken and sunken around this drainage grate since late July 2012. A red cone, presumably the State's property, marks the spot. When I called State Road Maintenance, I was told it takes 60 to 90 days from the date it's reported for this issue to be resolved. Really? Is there a new way of counting days? Two people have come to visit this blemish and potential safety hazard: the employee who painted symbols, letters and numbers around the area and another who, I'm guessing, came to look at his handiwork 'cause he didn't do anything but look, get back into his vehicle, talk on the phone and leave. That was around September and no one has been seen since.

Wanted to say more about it but as I typed it started getting ugly. The answer is no, this issue has not been resolved. Please be our Santa and gift us with a repaired pavement and drainage grate.

There appear to be multiple pages of these 'open' issues that are yet to be read by Mayor Bob. No wonder they're still 'open' if Mayor Bob is expected to read and resolve them. The issues are obviously not going to correct e-mail address, i.e. Mayor Steve.

When can we, the residents of Strathaven Forest, expect this problem to be taken care of? It'll be July 2013 soon and the cone won't move on its own nor will the hole around the grate mend itself.

So I guess our situations dealing with the "MIA BROAD RIVER ROAD BRIDGE" and surrounding areas where we have serious accidents involving death over the hillside crashing to the rocks below, traffic so messed up that affects all side roads into subdivisions and many nice apartment homes and condos, the potholes, and the traffic crunch at Greystone and Broad River Roads is going to the NO LONGER MAYOR OF COLUMBIA, Bob Coble. So when is Mayor Steve going to receive everyone's here and help for him to straighten these messes up? There needs to be a mass meeting of citizens with all these Clickfix problems at City Council meetings discussed! FIX THIS SITUATION AT STRATHAVEN FOREST for these people! Please "Guest," visit all my concerns that othersd, have added their own to it and VOTE for ours, too.
