That only took 2 weeks to acknowledge that this is a legitimate issue. Now let's see how long it takes to repair it. I'm guessing it just languishes out there forever like most of the others. A character in an old TV commercial said, "You can pay me now, or you can pay me later." The money that it's going to take to repair many of the issues that have developed and festered during this reign of fecklessness are going to cost a lot more than if things had just maintained on a regulars basis. For instance, soon all of the weeds and small trees sprouting from the expansion cracks in the medians and sidewalks along Williamsburg Road are going to cause them to crack and crumble. Richmond is starting to remind me of that tv show called 'After Man' where they tried to envision what cities will look like in the future as nature starts to reclaim everything after an apocalypse.
