Description

Stop sign is ingnored by one out of ten cars. Move the stop sign to the POLE which is on the curb.
then it can be seen with greater visibilty

Adjustments will be made to the SW corner of the intersection to improve the visibility of the stop signs. In addition, a secondary stop sign on the left side of the road will be added for the north bound lanes.

I agree. I've seen signs on the far side of the sidewalk and they seem too far removed from the road. Forward moving driver's eyes are primarily focused straight ahead. Looking for road signs, not sidewalk signs.
