City staff has investigated and was able to review photos going back as far as ten years during its review. The area in question has been determined to be within the Washington State Department of Transportation’s right of way. From the documentation obtained, the area of vegetation has remained constant over the last ten years and as such, the City considers this investigation completed.

There was obviously a misunderstanding of the issue at hand. There is no way that a comparative viewing of then and now documentation of the area could possibly show the area in question is unchanged.

Please reopen and we'll supply the necessary comparative photos to match the historical data. It will then be incontestably obvious that the area in question of which we are focused in this review was not the area inspected.

We appreciate the department's action taken however we will work with you to ensure that the object of the initial complaint is properly identified and reviewed. The attached photo will help.
