Description
The cars coming down Richdale and turning onto Raymond do not have a "Stop" sign so they continue turning even though there is a crosswalk there. Given the angle of the turn, the crosswalk may not be readily apparent and kids crossing Raymond to go to the Peabody School may not realize that, while Raymond has a stop sign, Richdale does not and it creates a sense of unease among parents whose kids cross there. Please put a sign up before school starts.
Thanks.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Given that this is not an intersection of two streets, it does not meet the warrants for installation of a new stop sign. After reviewing the roadway geometry in the area however, we can improve driver yielding behavior at the crosswalk with the installation of yield markings on the roadway in advance of the crosswalk.
We will schedule this work to be completed within the next four weeks.
