Remove and replant. The deciduous tree in front of The Lister Academy nearest the road should be removed. It would be nice to see two new trees along the sidewalk to replace the one removed. Consider "London Plane Tree" for this location. Thank you

Along with the tree problem, the School Department should also look at fixing the lawn. The land scape looks terrible. Before the drought the lawn and shrubs looked terrible.
Also the exterior of the school is in disrepair. Paint peeling around the windows, wood is rotting under the 3 bay window on the right side of the building.
The chain link fence along the back is broken and down.
This is the entrance to our neighborhood. It took a long time to fix the eyesore of the closed Sherburne Store. Do not let Lister Academy become another derelict building.
